ساريس قرية فلسطينية في القدس تم تدميرها عام 1948 أثناء قيام إسرائيل. اليوم تسكن من قبل الإسرائيليين. مع أصوات اللاجئين من مخيم قلنديا في الضفة الغربية، قصص من العائلات النازحة في القدس بالوقت الحاضر، ورحلة لثلاث لاجئين وهم يعودون إلى قراهم الأصلية، “بحثا عن ساريس” فيلم يبحث عن صلات بين الماضي والحاضر وشهادة على التهجير و دليل على الحلم المستمر في العودة.
Saris is a Palestinian village in Jerusalem that was destroyed in 1948 during the creation of Israel. Today it is inhabited by Israelis. With voices of refugees in Qalandia Refugee Camp in the West Bank, stories of displaced families in present-day Jerusalem, and a journey by three refugees as they return to their village of origin, Searching for Saris is a film in search of the connections between past and present and a testimony to on-going dispossession and to the persistent dream of return.

Jinan Coulter is a Palestinian-American documentary filmmaker, with an MA in Documentary Film, University of London. Searching for Saris is her first feature-length documentary.
